The production did not follow a script; the scenes were largely created by the actors' improvisation. Bit by bit, new building blocks were set that the story revolves around.
This approach makes it possible to work without a large film crew. There was usually no equipment, no costume and no mask. We also achieved a much greater ease and authenticity of the actors through direct improvisation in front of the camera compared to previous productions in which a script (created in close collaboration with the actors) served as a fixed template.
Furthermore, the open concept offered the possibility to actively involve the viewer – in our case mostly the Youtube audience of over 16000 users – in the story. For example, we asked users at certain turning points in the story to submit suggestions for the further course of the plot and then used these as building blocks for new improvisations. Eddi's Facebook-Seite also provided a behind-the-scenes look at the production.
This way the story always remains exciting for everyone, because it was never clear what will happen next.
