BiSecur radio system with certified security

The bi-directional BiSecur radio system uses future-oriented technology to conveniently and securely operate garage door and entrance gate operators, other door operators, lights and more.

This extremely secure BiSecur encryption protocol, developed by Hörmann, with a stable, interference-free range makes sure that no one can copy your radio signal. It was tested and certified by security experts at Bochum University and independent test institutes.

Smart operation

Just arrived home and it’s raining outside? No problem – open your entrance gate and garage door conveniently from your car with a hand transmitter or via Bluetooth with the Hörmann BlueSecur app on your smartphone.

For even more convenience, you can also operate your entrance gate or garage door with the homee Smart Home control centre and check the status of your gate and door at any time – no matter where you are or what time it is. The communication interface (HCP bus) integrated as standard in Hörmann entrance gate operators also allows for networking with external Smart Home control centres.

Networking with external Smart Home control centres

The HCP interface integrated in every Hörmann operator also allows for networking with external Smart Home control centres. As part of a home automation system, the door operator can be conveniently controlled via the user interface of the respective Smart Home control centre and networked with other smart components as desired. For example, it could be programmed in such a way that the outside and hallway lights switch on at the same time as the garage door closes at night or so that the garage door opens automatically when you drive up to your home. If the respective Smart Home control centre allows for remote access via the internet, the garage door can be conveniently opened on the go, for example so that the postman can leave a package or so that you can check the status of the taught-in devices.

Secure

Burglars have a tough time when it comes to Hörmann automatic garage doors: when the garage door is closed, the anti-lift kit automatically engages in the guide rail stop. The door locks immediately and is secured against forced opening. This lock is purely mechanical and, in contrast to operators from other manufacturers, is effective even in the event of a power failure.

Reliable

The reliable automatic safety cut-out safely stops the door if it encounters an obstacle. For even more protection and safety, we recommend fitting a non-contact photocell.

With the soft start and soft stop functions, your door will open and close quietly and smoothly. The start and stop phases can be set individually for your garage door. This protects your garage door, allowing you to enjoy it for years to come.

Certified safety

Hörmann entrance gate operators work safely during all opening and closing phases. The operating forces for common gate sizes and fitting situations have been tested and certified by independent test institutes in accordance with DIN EN 13241-1.

Convenient querying of the gate position

You no longer have to go out in wind and bad weather to check if your gate is closed. At the press of a button, the colour of the LED on the HS 5 BS hand transmitter or the FIT 5 BS internal push button indicates the gate position.  Press the button again to close the gate*. It is the most convenient and secure way to control your gate.

*  An additional photocell is required for operation if you do not have a view of the gate

Practical pedestrian passage

With double-leaf gates, it is possible to open only one gate leaf fully or partially for pedestrian passage. This allows you to easily and quickly pass through the entrance gate with your bicycle without opening the gate completely.

Low power consumption

In standby mode, the RotaMatic, VersaMatic and LineaMatic entrance gate operators consume less than 1 watt, thus protecting the environment and your bank balance.
