With a total of 7 door styles, 23 preferred colours and multiple options for handles and glazing, this entrance door can be custom-designed to meet individual requirements. The double-leaf version of the TopComfort Portal door is available in widths of up to 2600 mm and heights of up to 2500 mm.

Fast and clean fitting process

Our robust aluminium entrance doors with RC3 security features are fitted professionally using pre-drilled fitting points, as with standard entrance doors from other manufacturers without RC equipment. Special fixing material is not necessary, despite the certified high security features.

With ThermoSafe, ThermoSafe Hybrid, ThermoPlan Hybrid and ThermoCarbon entrance doors, the PU foam is optimally bonded to the door profile, the internal and external sheets and the glazing. In contrast to other door systems, where the components are only glued together, this elegant construction is characterised by a particularly high dimensional stability and break-in resistance as well as even better thermal insulation, as no thermal bridges are created with glazings.

Retractable bottom seal with weather protection

The retractable bottom seal with weather protection makes it possible to have a doorway without a threshold for entrances that are completely accessible for people with disabilities and also ensures that the door bottom edge is sealed in the best possible way. It is available as an option for all ThermoSafe entrance doors.

Safe glazing

When it comes to industrial safety and burglar protection, Hörmann entrance doors meet the very highest standards. The laminated safety glass on the interior and exterior of the triple-pane insulated glazing provides maximum security. In case of glass breakage, the glass splinters are also bound on the inside, meaning that the risk of injury from shards is virtually eliminated. Furthermore, the laminated safety glass offers better burglar protection, as it is more difficult to penetrate.

The Hörmann ECturn opening aid makes it easier for you to open your ThermoCarbon, ThermoPlan Hybrid, ThermoSafe Hybrid or ThermoSafe entrance door. Low-energy operation does not create any dangerous crushing and impact hazards, so no additional safety equipment is required.

The HDO 200 door operator opens and closes your TopComfort entrance door automatically with ease.

The inconspicuous Flatscan sensor monitors the area of travel and ensures safe operation. The operator can be conveniently controlled via buttons, radar and movement detectors and with hand transmitters or radio switches with BiSecur radio technology. In combination with a door version without threshold including retractable bottom seal, this is the ideal solution for entrances that are accessible for people with disabilities.

Modern door design with a matching look: Our new, exclusive Duragrain decors for LPU 42 sectional garage doors with L-ribbing are perfectly matched to the MatchDecor of the same name for our ThermoSafe aluminium entrance doors. This combination creates a harmonious overall appearance as if cast from the same mould. The five new decors Cement, Rusty Patina, Wild Oak, Barnwood and Barnwood grey provide an extraordinary door design and accentuate a modern facade design.

The new decors are transferred to the door surface finish using state-of-the-art technology and produce a true-colour and detailed appearance. A patented coating process is used for ThermoSafe MatchDecor entrance doors and an innovative digital printing process for garage doors. An additional protective coating makes the Duragrain surface particularly hard-wearing, scratch-resistant and stain-resistant and ensures a long-lasting, beautiful door view. The designs are available as Duragrain decors for LPU 42 sectional garage doors with L-ribbing and for ThermoSafe entrance doors as MatchDecor surface finishes for a total of 18 styles.

Easy, fast and professional cleaning

Cleaning doors and frames couldn’t be easier with the cleaning and maintenance set developed exclusively for Hörmann in collaboration with Sonax. With this set, you can achieve a professional finish – fast. This means that the construction components retain their colour intensity over the long term and are optimally protected against wear and corrosion. This set has been specially tested by Hörmann and includes a perfectly matched cleaner and polish. The set not only makes cleaning much easier but also reduces the risk of damaging the construction components.

Protective lever handle for aluminium entrance doors

A new interior lever made of high-quality stainless steel is available for the Hörmann ThermoSafe, ThermoSafe Hybrid, ThermoPlan Hybrid and TopComfort aluminium entrance doors. The special feature: The so-called protective lever handle opens only after approx. 87° instead of after 25° as with conventional lever handles. This prevents unintentional door opening by pets, e.g. dogs. Locking the door or putting the lever handle upright are thus no longer required. Convenient operating options with accessories such as electric strikes, code switches or finger-scans stay the same. This video will provide you with more information on the protective lever handle.
