The new HAS1 alarm sensor with alarm encoder for garage doors reliably provides alerts in the event of an attempted break-in. It immediately triggers an alarm if the door is raised manually by unauthorised persons without a previously issued travel command.

Our new HAS1 alarm sensor with alarm encoder for garage doors offers double security and reliable protection in the event of an attempted break-in. If the door is raised manually without having previously received a travel command, the alarm is triggered immediately. The principle also works when the garage door is in the ventilation position / partially open. The sensor or reed contact and the alarm encoder are attached to the HCP bus interface of Hörmann SupraMatic 4 or ProMatic 4 garage door operators using an adapter. Operation is simple: the reed contact registers when the magnet on the slide carriage of the operator travels over it and sends this information to the adapter. This only activates the alarm when the door is manually released without a travel command. Whether you open a closed door or push it open in the ventilation position, the alarm sensor sends a signal, providing additional security in addition to the anti-lift kit. An adapter, a sensor, a magnetic holder and an alarm encoder are included in the scope of delivery. This innovative alarm technology guarantees reliable protection and allows you to leave your home with peace of mind at any time.

BiSecur radio system with certified security

The bi-directional BiSecur radio system uses future-oriented technology to conveniently and securely operate garage door and entrance gate operators, door operators, lights and more.

This extremely secure BiSecur encryption protocol, developed by Hörmann, with a stable, interference-free range makes sure that no one can copy your radio signal. It was tested and certified by security experts at Bochum university and independent test institutes.

Smart operation

If you wish to operate your garage door not only with hand transmitters, code switches or finger-scans, but also with your smartphone, you can use the Hörmann BlueSecur app for this purpose. The self-explanatory user interface of the app can not only be used to operate the garage door via Bluetooth, but also to switch the lighting of the door operator on and off. The app is available as a free download from Google Play and the App Store. A corresponding receiver is already integrated in the Hörmann SupraMatic operator from the 4th generation and optionally available for the ProMatic 4 operator.

For even more convenience, you can also operate your garage door using the Smart Home control centre homee and query the status of your door at any time – no matter where you are.

Networking with external Smart Home control centres

The HCP interface integrated in every Hörmann operator also allows for networking with external Smart Home systems. As part of a home automation system, the door operator can be conveniently controlled via the user interface of the respective Smart Home control centre and networked with other smart components as desired. For example, it could be programmed in such a way that the outside and hallway lights switch on at the same time as the garage door closes at night or so that the garage door opens automatically when you drive up to your home. If the respective Smart Home system allows for remote access via the internet, the garage door can be conveniently opened on the go, e.g. so that the postman can deposit a package or to check the status of the taught-in devices.

Safe

Burglars have a tough time when it comes to Hörmann automatic garage doors: when the garage door is closed, the anti-lift kit automatically engages in the guide rail stop. The door locks immediately and is secured against forced opening. This locking mechanism is purely mechanical and, in contrast to operators from other manufacturers, effective even in the event of a power failure.

The reliable automatic safety cut-out securely stops the door if it encounters an obstacle. For even more protection and safety, we recommend fitting a non-contact photocell.

With the soft start and soft stop functions, your door will open and close quietly and smoothly. The start and stop phases can be set individually for your garage door. This protects your garage door, allowing you to enjoy it for years to come.
