Double-leaf steel / aluminium entrance door Thermo65 with smaller fixed leaf
The Thermo65 double-leaf steel / aluminium entrance door is now also available with a smaller fixed leaf: this can be selected from a width of 700 mm. This provides greater flexibility in many fitting situations, allowing a larger clear passage width for the traffic leaf even in confined spaces. The flush-fitting transition from the traffic leaf to the fixed leaf ensures a full, elegant door view without a visible centre rail.

We think and act green
As a family business, we are very conscious of our responsibility to future generations and offer all products for residential construction CO2-neutral as standard. The Hörmann sustainability strategy aims to reduce and avoid emissions. We cover 100% of our electrical power needs at all European production sites with genuine green electricity from renewable sources. We also apply many other measures to reduce our consumption and save more than 75000 tonnes of CO2 each year. We offset the remaining emissions by promoting certified climate protection projects in cooperation with ClimatePartner.

Our entrance doors make it especially difficult for burglars to break into your home. This is how we protect your home from uninvited guests. What’s more, the certified security features are not discernible to the naked eye, unlike with many competitor solutions.
Excellent thermal insulation
Our entrance doors set high standards in terms of thermal insulation: All door models meet the requirements of the new German Buildings Energy Act (GEG). In addition, our ThermoCarbon entrance doors are also certified for passive houses by ift Rosenheim. ThermoCarbon aluminium entrance doors with a UD value of up to 0.47 W/(m²·K)*.

Completely foamed door leaf
With ThermoSafe, ThermoSafe Hybrid, ThermoPlan Hybrid and ThermoCarbon entrance doors, the PU foam is optimally bonded to the door profile, the internal and external sheets and the glazing. In contrast to other door systems, where the components are only glued together, this elegant construction is characterised by a particularly high dimensional stability and break-in resistance as well as even better thermal insulation, as no thermal bridges are created with glazings.
Safe glazing
When it comes to industrial safety and burglar protection, Hörmann entrance doors meet the very highest standards. The laminated safety glass on the interior and exterior of the triple-pane insulated glazing provides maximum security. In case of glass breakage, the glass splinters are also bound on the inside, meaning that the risk of injury from shards is virtually eliminated. Furthermore, the laminated safety glass offers better burglar protection, as it is more difficult to penetrate.
Smart app operation
Open and close your gates and doors conveniently via Bluetooth using your smartphone. Lock and unlock your entrance door and garage door using the user-friendly Hörmann BlueSecur app. In addition, other user permissions can be permanently or temporarily transferred to other smartphones so that every family member always has their “gate and door opener” with them.
Door and garage door in a matching look
Modern door design with a matching look: Our new, exclusive Duragrain decors for LPU 42 sectional garage doors with L-ribbing are perfectly matched to the MatchDecor of the same name for our ThermoSafe aluminium entrance doors. This combination creates a harmonious overall appearance as if cast from the same mould. The five new decors Cement, Rusty Patina, Wild Oak, Barnwood and Barnwood grey provide an extraordinary door design and accentuate a modern facade design.
The new decors are transferred to the door surface finish using state-of-the-art technology and produce a true-colour and detailed appearance. A patented coating process is used for ThermoSafe MatchDecor entrance doors and an innovative digital printing process for garage doors. An additional protective coating makes the Duragrain surface particularly hard-wearing, scratch-resistant and stain-resistant and ensures a long-lasting, beautiful door view. The designs are available as Duragrain decors for LPU 42 sectional garage doors with L-ribbing and for ThermoSafe entrance doors as MatchDecor surface finishes for a total of 18 styles.
Protective lever handle for aluminium entrance doors
A new interior lever made of high-quality stainless steel is available for the Hörmann ThermoSafe, ThermoSafe Hybrid, ThermoPlan Hybrid and TopComfort aluminium entrance doors. The special feature: The so-called protective lever handle opens only after approx. 87° instead of after 25° as with conventional lever handles. This prevents unintentional door opening by pets, e.g. dogs. Locking the door or putting the lever handle upright are thus no longer required. Convenient operating options with accessories such as electric strikes, code switches or finger-scans stay the same. This video will provide you with more information on the protective lever handle.
