The automatic bollard A 114-600/800 E is a ready-to-install bollard that is super easy to fit thanks to its integrated foundation box. With an excellent price / performance ratio, it is ideal for private residential construction.

The electromechanical plug & play bollard provides a great variety of applications: security in private property driveways, blocking for private roads or as anti-theft protection in front of garages. It can be combined with fixed design bollards and is available in two barrier heights (600 mm and 800 mm) with a standard diameter of 114 mm. Made from brushed V2A stainless steel (AISI 304) and fitted with an electromechanical drive, it is designed for average use frequencies of approximately 100 cycles per day. The bollard features low power consumption and minimal maintenance requirements. The bollard also meets strict environmental regulations, operating without the need for hydraulic oil. In the event of a power failure, it can be lowered manually. A remote control, LED lighting attachment and additional heating element are available as optional extras. Remote access via the Hörmann Cloud Unit W5-B is also possible.

Maximum security and function

Environmentally-friendly and flexibly fitted

For bollards with an integrated hydraulic operator, all the functional components are installed in the bollard unit. The integrated hydraulic system requires only small quantities of oil, posing far less of a risk to the environment. Biodegradable oil is also available as an option to reduce the environmental risk to zero. Security and High Security bollards with an integrated electromechanical drive are particularly environmentally-friendly and low maintenance. Because they do not require hydraulic oil, they also meet strict environmental regulations.

Another advantage of both versions: The control unit can be fitted up to 80 metres away from hydraulic bollards or 50 metres away from electromechanical bollards using a power / connection cable.

Matching bollard versions

The cylinders of all bollards have a matching appearance, allowing for a customised combination of Security and High Security Line bollards. This means that fixed, semi-automatic and automatic bollards can be combined perfectly by choosing matching bottom plates. This creates a completely harmonious overall appearance.

Security fast in case of emergency

An open access does not have to represent a security risk. Thanks to the EFO emergency function (Emergency Fast Operation), the lowered bollards are extended very quickly, in around only 1.5 seconds, offering rapid security in emergency situations.

Individual control concepts

Comprehensive control concepts involving several bollards, for example, can be combined with a single control unit. This concept allows you to configure master and slave relationships between the bollards. The control unit is connected by means of maintenance-friendly, quick-connecting terminals. These simplify fitting and make subsequent maintenance easier. In addition, the control unit can be expanded to include control elements (such as code switches) and / or further activating kits, such as for induction loops.

The perimeter protection systems can also be conveniently operated using the BiSecur radio system. This extremely secure BiSecur encryption protocol, developed by Hörmann, with a stable, interference-free range makes sure that no one can copy your radio signal. It was tested and certified by security experts at Bochum university and independent test institutes.

Number plate recognition for bollards

Hörmann number plate recognition for barriers and bollards enables quick and convenient entry to and exit from areas with restricted access. The number plate is the leading ID medium detected by a camera on the entry and exit station. If authorisation is given, the bollard lowers and the passage is cleared.

Online Control for bollards

With Online Control, you have an overview of all bollard systems and can manage them conveniently and centrally worldwide from a single location. Hörmann’s proprietary system is available as an option for automatic bollards. You can gain access to Online Control via the web browser on mobile or stationary terminal devices. With the web interface, it is possible to operate the bollard systems in full, run status queries on the bollard systems and carry out comprehensive user administration.
